Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

In today's world, healing is increasingly being understood as a multidimensional process that goes beyond the physical body. Whether dealing with emotional wounds, mental stress, or physical pain, healing involves an intricate dance between the mind, body, and spirit. One central idea within this holistic approach is the concept that “energy flows where attention goes,"which underscores the power of focused intention in the healing process.

The phrase “energy flows where attention goes,” highlights the idea that whatever we focus on in our lives receives our energy and the intention or fear behind it.

In the context of healing, this means that by directing our attention to a particular area—whether a part of the body, an emotional issue, or a thought pattern—we create the conditions for transformation, or perpetuation.

This focus, when used positively, acts as an energetic spotlight, bringing awareness to areas that need healing and promoting the flow of life force, or energy, to those places.

When we are in a state of imbalance or illness, it is often because energy has become blocked or stagnant in some area of our body or life. By shifting our attention and loving awareness to these areas, we can begin to release blockages and encourage healing.

Our bodies and minds are naturally wired for self-healing; given the right environment and support, our energy systems can return to a state of balance. Sometimes we can forget how to do that, and believe in the inevitability of a diagnosis or specific outcome.

The human body possesses an extraordinary capacity for self-repair and regeneration. This is most apparent when we look at something as simple as a cut on our skin. Once the initial injury occurs, our body immediately sets a healing process in motion—platelets form a clot, immune cells protect against infection, and skin cells multiply to close the wound.

This innate ability to heal extends far beyond the physical level. Emotional and psychological wounds can also heal given the right circumstances. The key is creating an environment that supports healing, whether it’s physical, emotional, or mental. In this way, healing becomes a holistic process that incorporates not just medical intervention, but also mindfulness, nutrition, energy work, and emotional release.

While our bodies are naturally designed to heal, sometimes we need support in navigating the healing journey. This is where the role of a ‘healer’ comes in. Contrary to popular belief, a healer does not "heal" the individual; rather, they act as a conduit or facilitator, helping to create the energetic conditions necessary for self-healing to occur.

A healer tunes into the energetic and emotional frequencies of the individual, and can hold the perfect energy blueprint fir the person to align with.

Through modalities such as energy healing, remote viewing, or even EFT, the ‘healer' guides the person to release these blockages and restore energetic flow. This, in turn, supports the body and mind in their own healing processes.

The ‘healer’s' role is not to "fix" the individual, but to hold space, offer guidance, and support the person as they move toward balance. Just as a gardener tends to plants by ensuring they have the right conditions—sunlight, water, and nutrient-rich soil—a healer provides the conditions in which the body and spirit can thrive and regenerate. In this way, healing becomes a co-creative process.

Healing is not a one-time event but an ongoing process of attention and energy. By directing our focus toward areas of need—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—we open the door to profound healing.

While ‘healers’ can act as powerful conduits, we are ultimately responsible for our own well-being. By creating the right environment and holding space for our own healing, we align ourselves with our natural ability to heal and grow.

In the end, healing is about balance—finding harmony between the mind, body, and spirit, and nurturing the flow of energy that runs through us all. With the right attention and support, we can create lasting transformation from within.
