Mindful Dog Walking
Less rushing. More connection

Do you want moe than just a dog walker?

I offer a small, personal 1-2-1 dog-walking service for guardians who value trust, familiarity, consistency and connection.

Your dog gets to know the person who walks them. I get to know your dog, their individual ways and what helps them feel comfortable. And you have the reassurance of knowing who is caring for them. When they are with me you know that I have the time and attention to be fully present with each dog I walk.

Your dog's time with me

When your dog is with me, they have my attention. I'm not on my phone, rushing from one booking to the next or trying to get the walk finished as quickly as possible. I'm interested in the dog I'm with.

What are they noticing?

What are they communicating?

What do they enjoy?

What helps them feel comfortable?

The walk belongs to your dog.

My approach is force-free and non-coercive. I don't use physical punishment, intimidation or aversive handling methods. I want our time together to feel safe, comfortable, familiar and predictable.

A relationship that grows over time

I don't want to be someone your dog sees once when you're stuck. I want to become someone they know. The more we see one another, the more familiar I become to them and the more I learn about who they are.

That familiarity allows a relationship to develop.I learn their little ways.

They learn mine. And over time, we build something based on trust and consistency. This is why I keep my walking service small.

I'm interested in knowing the dogs I care for, rather than simply walking as many dogs as possible.

This is why I have created my Mindful Dog Walking Membership.
Mindful Dog Walking Membership - £10 per month

The membership is for guardians who want regular, reliable walks with someone their dog knows. Rather than having to find someone whenever a walk is needed, we'll agree a regular walking arrangement that works for you, your dog and my availability.

Membership includes -

A regular place in my diary

One dog: £20 per hour

£5 off one walk each month

One walk for one dog for £15 each membership month.

Flexible changes to one booking per month within 24hrs of session

Complimentary onboarding

A photo and little update after every walk

Monthly Mindful Dog Guardian email

You will have also have the peace of mind of -

A regular and consistent familiar face.

A caring relationship.

A calm and attentive approach.

Force-free, non-coercive care.

Attentive unhurried walk tailored just for them.

A walker who knows your dog and builds trust wth your dog.

The peace of mind of knowing your regular walks are secured.

One-off walks - Non Members

I also offer one-off walks to non-member subject to availability, however these are very limited and it would be advisable to book well in advance.

£25 - one dog, one hour

One-off walks are subject to availability and are offered after regular member arrangements have been accommodated. If you're looking for the reassurance of knowing your dog's regular walks are secured with someone they know, membership is the better option.

More than one dog

I may be able to walk two dogs from the same household together, depending on their individual needs, size, relationship with one another and the practicalities of walking them safely. This is considered on a dog-by-dog basis and isn't something I automatically offer.

Where I do agree to walk two dogs together, the rate is:

Members: £30 per hour

Non-members: £40 per hour

Where I walk

I currently offer Mindful Dog Walking in:

Hampton Magna
Warwick
Leek Wootton
Kenilworth

I may also be able to accommodate dogs in surrounding areas where the journey is practical.

What you can expect

Before the first walk

Complimentary onboarding & Meet and Greet

Before we begin, we'll have a comprehensive onboarding session at your home.

I'll get to know you and your dog and learn about their:

  • personality and individual character

  • routines and preferences

  • likes and dislikes

  • ways of communicating

  • history and experiences

  • health and mobility

  • lead walking and recall

  • relationships with dogs, people and their environment

  • fears, sensitivities or things they find difficult

  • equipment and walking arrangements

  • home routine and anything I need to know when collecting and returning them

I'll also spend time simply getting to know your dog.

This means they aren't meeting a stranger on the day of their first walk.

They already know who I am, and I have a good understanding of who they are. It's also an opportunity for all of us to see whether we're a good fit.

There is no obligation to book afterwards.
